BearbeitenDer Senat wird anscheinend direkt (alle 4 Jahre) und Indirekt gewählt. Aber direkt 208 + indirekt 41 Sitze ergeben zusammen nur 249 und nicht die angegebene 259 Sitze. Welche Zahl stimmt den nun? --91.115.162.188 22:36, 4. Apr. 2009 (CEST)
DIE SPANISCHE VERFASSUNG
Artikel 69.
1. Der Senat ist die Kammer, welche die territoriale Vertretung innehat.
2. In jeder Provinz wählen die Stimmberechtigten in allgemeiner, freier, gleicher, direkter und geheimer Wahl gemäß einem Organgesetz jeweils vier Senatoren [50 Provinzen; 47 Festlandprovinzen x 4 = 188 Senatoren].
3. In den Inselprovinzen [3 Provinzen] bildet jede Insel oder Inselgruppe, die über einen Cabildo Insular oder einen Inselrat verfügt, einen Wahlkreis zum Zwecke der Senatorenwahl; den großen Inseln, Gran Canaria, Mallorca und Tenerife, stehen je drei Senatoren [9 Senatoren] und folgenden Inseln oder Inselgruppen jeweils einer zu: Ibiza-Formentera, Menorca, Fuerteventura, Gomera, Hierro, Lanzarote und La Palma [7 Senatoren].
4. Die Bevölkerungen von Ceuta und Melilla wählen je zwei Senatoren [4 Senatoren].

5. Die Autonomen Gemeinschaften ernennen außerdem einen Senator sowie einen weiteren pro Million Einwohner ihres entsprechenden Gebietes. Die Ernennung obliegt der gesetzgebenden Versammlung oder, in Ermangelung derselben, dem obersten Kollegialorgan der Autonomen Gemeinschaft, und zwar gemäß den Statuten, die in jedem Fall die angemessene Verhältniswahl gewährleisten [56 Senatoren: Andalusien 9, Aragonien 2, Asturien 2, Balearische Inseln 2, Baskenland 3, Extremadura 2, Galicien 3, Kanarische Inseln 3, Kantabrien 1, Kastilien-La Mancha 2, Kastilien und León 3, Katalonien 8, La Rioja 1, Madrid 7, Murcia 2, Navarra 1, Valencia 5].

6. Der Senat wird auf vier Jahre gewählt. Das Mandat der Senatoren läuft vier Jahre nach ihrer Wahl oder am Tag der Auflösung der Kammer ab.

2. Comunidad de Castilla y León: (9 x 4) + 3 = 39 Senatoren
3. Comunidad Autónoma de Cataluña: (4 x 4) + 8 = 24 Senatoren

5. Comunidad Autónoma de Galicia: (4 x 4) + 3 = 19 Senatoren
6. Comunidad Valenciana: (3 x 4) + 5 = 17 Senatoren
7. Comunidad Autónoma del País Vasco: (3 x 4) + 3 = 15 Senatoren
8. Comunidad Autónoma de Aragón: (3 x 4) + 2 = 14 Senatoren
9. Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias: 3 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 1 +1 + 3 = 14 Senatoren
10. Comunidad de Madrid: 4 + 7 = 11 Senatoren
11. Comunidad Autónoma de Extremadura: (2 x 4) + 2 = 10 Senatoren
12. Comunidad Autónoma de las Islas Baleares: 3 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 7 Senatoren
13. Comunidad Autónoma del Principado de Asturias: 4 + 2 = 6 Senatoren
14. Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia: 4 + 2 = 6 Senatoren
15. Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria: 4 + 1 = 5 Senatoren
