Anton Neuhäusler as Augustin Sturm

I am a bit confused. In this article dealing with Anton Neuhäusler no mention is made of his pseudonym Augustin Sturm. The Bayerische Staatsbibliothek catalogues this book "Unter Helden und Hexen: Ein Lebensabenteuer bei den Indios" as an AUTOBIOGRAPHY (by Anton Neuhäusler), the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek catagorizes it as "Belletristik". Did Anton Neuhäusler ever live in Mexico? Did he actually author this book? He was a German philosopher and dialect poet (Mundartdichter) - no mention in the Wikipedia article of his stay in Mexico? Nor of this quite popular book - if he did write it. Helpful for any information (German, English or Spanish please). I think his biography should be updated, but must first get the facts.
